Olive, first published in 1982, began as a special edition of POPEYE. This is issue number 14. Published by Heibon Publishing (Magazine House). December 18, 1982 issue – a whopping 43 years ago! This is a valuable resource for studying the Showa era.

This issue features a major tennis special, which was a huge boom at the time! The issue features the admired Chris Evert Lloyd and McEnroe. There's also a wealth of other information that can't all be listed. It's a treasure trove of information, full of old and new fashion, and a moving read for those who love Showa.

It's fascinating to see Beverly Hills mansions and information on Saipan, showing how the magazine stimulated Olive girls with a global perspective from this time.

I bought every issue and kept them carefully, but I'm decluttering and rereading my collection one by one (a slow process as I get lost in nostalgia), and listing them gradually (from the first issue to mid-1991). The Olives I'm selling here were all purchased at bookstores when they were released and have never been in anyone else's hands.
