【Detailed Introduction】
From the development stage, design sketches, and prototypes, it introduces in detail the 2-door and 4-door sedans, station wagons, and even the rare 2-door coupe and open-top models.
Also, it features a wide range of photos from the time, including scenes from rallies and races, and even a police car.

【Condition】
There is some yellowing, staining, and warping on the "top" (the upper part of the book), but the contents are in good condition.

Volvo Amazon.
The prototype was completed and unveiled in early 1956, and the car was named "Amazon" after the tribe of female warriors who lived near the Black Sea in Scythia, as depicted in Greek mythology.
With the catchphrase "A fast, fiery Swedish beauty," the Amazon attracted attention for its elegant looks and spacious, comfortable cabin room, and then, the export was about to begin. However, a major problem arose here. It was discovered that the name Amazon was trademarked by Kreidler, a West German motorcycle manufacturer. Volvo quickly negotiated with Kreidler and obtained permission to use the name Amazon only in Sweden. Outside of Sweden, the series was named the "120" series, based on the model number...
It seems that this sleek and robust car has such an episode.
