In the manufacturing process of knives, Kurouchi(blacksmith’s finish) is the unpolished oxide film generated during “hardening“. Although it does not have a glittering shine, the matte black has a rough & rustic look which cannot find in polished knives. This series has two models. One is [Santoku all-purpose kitchen knife] & the other one is [Nakiri knife] that mainly use for cutting vegetables.
