Paying tribute to modern French history, this model is named after legionnaires, members of the French Foreign Legion. The Legionnaire Series is produced in a limited edition, with each pen individually numbered by engraving. These exquisitely-finished pens blend the linear symmetry of the Art Deco style with the natural forms of Art Nouveau. Each pen is made of solid brass which has been plated with mirror-polished chrome for a luxurious finish. The octagonal surface has linear "diamond-cut" engraving and fine hand-etching of leaf pattern on 4 sides. Elements of this series’ design was inspired by the standards of Roman legions and the famous motto “SPQR”, or “Senatus Populusque Romanus”, meaning “The Senate and People of Rome”.
