The bit is precision ground for high true running accuracy; the increasing core provides high stability and minimises the risk of breakage. The decreasing diameter reduces heat build-up and thus helps to preserve the drill bit and materials. The large chip guide groove ensures effective chip removal. The metal drill bit is available in different sizes and has a round shank for quick locking in the drill chuck. It is compliant with DIN 338.
