【With Example】CANON 50mm F1.2 new FD Old Lens

This is a very bright standard prime lens with a large aperture of F1.2, making it a fun lens for portraits with its old lens-like soft resolution, dreamy bokeh, and flare and ghosting effects in backlit situations (Example 3).

At wide open aperture, it has the gentle rendering of an old lens, while stopping down gives it a modern resolution and sharp color (Example 4).

With an APS-C size, it has a focal length equivalent to approximately 75mm in 35mm format, making it a suitable medium telephoto lens for portraits with its F1.2 aperture.

It can be mounted on film cameras like the F-1 and A-1.
For mirrorless cameras, you can mount it on cameras from various manufacturers by using a separate adapter.

The sample photos were taken with this lens mounted on a mirrorless camera.

☆Condition☆
・Appearance
Used condition with some wear and dirt.

・Optics
There are some fine dust particles inside.
There is some haze on the front and rear elements.
It's difficult to capture in photos, but I've tried to show it.

・Operation
The focus ring is a little loose, but it moves smoothly.
The aperture also works without any problems from wide open to minimum. There is no oil staining.

・Accessories
Original front cap, third-party rear cap

The mount is listed as EF, but it is actually FD mount.

It is fully functional and can be used as a practical lens.
