This Washer Water Inlet Valve Assembly helps control the water flow into the washer. This kit is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Maytag® and KitchenAid® washing machines; check to see if your model is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
