Whirlpool W10006355 Top-Load Washer Shift Actuator

The Top-Load Washer Shift Actuator is located at the bottom of the machine and shifts the washer from the agitate to the spin cycle. This part has a synchronous motor that shifts the splutch cam ring and monitors the position of the splutch. If your appliance is unable to enter the spin cycle, you will need to replace this part to alleviate the issue. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.The product has recently subbed from a Red shift actuator to a Black shift actuator. Although they may look a bit different, it will still work with your machine.
