K3 Bio Media is a biological solution for the treatment of water for ponds, aquariums, and wastewater. The K3 Bio Media is a DIY application for moving bed filter applications and is efficient. The K3 Bio Media provides a massive surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria to colonize and make this media very efficient. It takes approximately 1-6 weeks for the biofilm to form to be fully fluidized. An air pump is needed to make the K3 filter media flow, it would be more efficient if there is micro-bubbles in the water. The media to water ratio: 15%-65%.
