The Longwy earthenware factory was founded in 1798 by Boch and Nothomb in Lorraine.
This is one of the rare 19th century French earthenware factories still in operation today.
Superb old plate, 1940s with cloisonné enamels with floral decoration treated in slip to give them a slight relief, offering an elegant decoration on a deep blue background enhanced by very colorful flowers, magnificent birds, and enhanced by a navy blue net on the edge, making the appearance chic.
