This is a rare piece of vintage glassware because of the patents with the months and years indicated.
Below the handle, the container is ribbed. It is approximately 6 inches tall.
The metal collar has an attached hinged lid.
I am marking the piece as Fair. This is due to the aging of the metal collar and hinged lid.
On the metal collar, the following dates are engraved regarding the patents:
PAT. JULY 6TH, 1915
AUG 22ND, 1916
PAT. JULY and AUG are visible without a magnifier.
The dates on the collar are both over 100 years ago!
To see the dates, I utilized a jeweler's loop.
The patent numbers after the dates are on the collar but can not be read.
The glass reflects the green from the outside grass.
