Late Forties Cropped Wool Military Jacket.
"Ike"/"Eisenhower" Style. It was popularized by the former American General/President whose name it bears (above image is Eisenhower) and it's said to have been inspired by a jacket an English general Eisenhower met, who enlisted a London tailor to make one to his liking. With its cropped, narrow waist, the Eisenhower jacket has an uncommon flair.
