Vintage photography bundle with a silver Minolta XD5 35mm SLR film camera, a model manufactured between 1979 and 1984 as part of the celebrated Minolta XD series.
The camera appears to be in good mechanical condition with all levers and dials moving freely and it does click when button pushed. There is a roll of film in it looks like so that will be a SURPRISE if developed. It was part of my deceased uncles equipment so I had to research all this info.
Known for its technical collaboration with Leica, this camera was ahead of its time, offering dual-mode automation with both aperture and shutter priority modes, a bright Acute Matte focusing screen, and a quiet vertical metal shutter.
It comes with an Access 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 multi-coated zoom lens that includes a macro setting for close-up photography. This extensive kit is packed with authentic vintage accessories, including a Sunpak Auto 221 electronic flash, five individual leatherette film pouches (one with film roll in it).
