Here we have 4 framed vintage reproductions of vintage maps. They are on very good, thick paper, and I think date to at least the mid 1900’s, especially as there is no zip code on the address of the framer. The are uniformly framed in solid distressed wood.
The first is entitled ““Europa Recens Descripta à Guilielmo Blaeuw”. Translation is “Europe Recently Depicted by Willem Blaeu”. The original copper engraving was published around 1630. This example is roughly the size of the original, and is colored similar to how maps of the period were hand-colored.
