This striking vintage Elgin powder compact features a beautifully embossed Order of the Eastern Star emblem in vibrant enamel at its center. The iconic five-pointed star is boldly colored in red, blue, yellow, white, and green, each point symbolizing a heroine of biblical origin, and encircling a central gold-toned pedestal. The brushed gold-tone background is adorned with engraved flourishes and star motifs. It’s a piece for Masonic memorabilia collectors, lovers of mid-century vanity accessories or vintage compacts in general. It is fully functional and likely from the 1950s–1960s, it retains its classic shape and vintage charm. Measures 3” in diameter. In good condition. Top is in excellent condition.
