This 50+ year old black evening bag is crowned by a beautiful golden artistic designed snap closure. The label inside the clutch states the bag was designed by Bobbie Jerome. This work of art in a clutch was designed in the 1940's. It has been in our family for over 60 years in storage and perhaps was carried one time to the best of our knowledge. The interior of the clutch is in a heavy sateen. Some collectors say it is silk, but I want to err on the conservative side.
I doubt if you would ever find a clutch like this that would show no wear and appear brand new. This clutch would get you a lot of questions about the designer and about the gold appearing claw latch.
