Vintage 1940's/1950's three-piece power suit set from Alper Schwartz. This textured taffeta number is perfect for work, wedding guest, Mother of the Bride/Groom, church, cocktail or holiday party! Slightly darker and not quite as vibrant as shown
Piece #1 - blazer/blouse: features diamond-shaped buttons, darting, a unique dualing one-sided fold-over lapel AND notched collar, cuffed wrists, dolman sleeves, and two front pockets
Piece #2 - skirt: features waist pleats, back panels, and a hip zipper/hook and eye
Piece #3 - detachable belt
The skirt and top contain a few snags and light seam stressing throughout and the belt has wear on the buckle - no biggie - overall in great shape for the age!
