Application Instructions For the best results, apply HideLok as soon as possible after harvesting. If the cape has been frozen, make sure it is fully thawed, not cold to the touch, and completely dry before application. Lay the hide hair-side down and remove any excess meat and fat from the hide tissue. Use a towel (not provided) to thoroughly remove all moisture, ensuring the hide is as dry as possible. Do not wash the hide prior to applying HideLok. Generously apply HideLok to all exposed surfaces of the hide, including the inside of the ears, nose, and around the lips.
