Lightweight, like the Air you breathe. The Velbon UT-3AR tripod weighs just 787g, yet is capable of supporting up to 1.5 kg of camera gear - ideal for use when travelling with mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It is extremely compact when folded, measuring just 29.5cm in length - that's 2mm less than the length of an A4 sheet of paper. Fully extended, it reaches a useful 135.5cm in height and the 5-section legs feature Velbon's 'Ultra' fast twist-locking system. A simple lift-and-turn of the main collar allows the legs to pivot through 180 degrees and nest cleanly against the centre column when the tripod is fully folded. The lockable centre column is height-adjustable and can be removed and inverted for ultra-low level macro work. The newly designed ball & socket head is lightweight, strong and versatile. It is fitted with an Arca Swiss compatible quick-release platform. The UT-3AR easily fits into a backpack, or can be hung from your belt using the supplied carabineer clip.
