The Cliffhanger Project is a treasure trove of guitar magic from veteran Oak Cliff, Texas musicians, composers and songwriters. Lone Star blues and Texas blues-rock at it's finest! The CD consists of 13 tracks, 5 of them written by Oak Cliff musicians and features guitarists Rocky Athas (currently plays with John Mayall), Jerry Don Branch and Jimmy Wallace (The Stratoblasters), Christian Brooks, David Brown, Michael Jeffrey (played and recorded with Jimmy Buffet), Mike McCullough, Russell Stonecypher and Robert Ware on bass. Drummers include Mike Gage, Craig Marlow, Jack Miller and Christian Brooks. Vocalist Larry Samford is featured on three of the selections.
