U.S. Military Surplus
A duffel bag issued by the U.S. Navy during the 1940s, during World War II.
Navy duffel bags are mostly white or olive green, and are rarely seen. Most of them are heavily used and dirty.
This one is khaki, a rare color.
The U.S.N. stencil is clear, and although there are some stains and scratches, it appears to have been hardly used, judging from the condition of the grommets and straps.
Made by TWEEDIES in 1944.
