Why Do You LIKEconcrete? LIKEconcrete works exclusively with the finest in established and up-and-coming artisan designers in Denmark, including renowned Studio Norgaard Design. This relationship led us to the development of special techniques, unique to LIKEconcrete, whereby we control the formation of air bubbles as the concrete forms, this yields exquisitely smooth pieces of practical art, hand-poured and set using state-of-the-art molding methods. We use absolutely no additives, epoxy or harsh chemicals when producing our concrete so it is 100% home-safe. We leave our concrete unsealed to maintain it’s marvelous matte finish, which over time becomes influenced by its environment, taking on a unique look depending on what it has been in contact with, so no one piece is ever the same as the next, each one is entirely unique to you! Despite not using epoxy resins, our concrete is able to be molded into elegantly slim forms, whilst retaining an unbelievable durability – being typically 2.5X Stronger than traditional concrete, so you know you are making a worthwhile investment into décor you can use and admire for years to come!

• Green Concrete – The concrete used to make our concrete planters is of the utmost purity and is produced using specially selected sustainable stone. This is then hand-poured and set in special molds, without a sealant, leaving the planter with a beautiful matte finish and a silky-smooth texture. This high purity means if disposed of outside, our concrete actually absorbs excess acid from the soil and good for our planet!
• Practical and Safe – Our concrete pots might look thin, but don’t be concerned, our special techniques allow us to create a maximum strength molds that outlast even traditional concrete when it comes to durability!
