- A Japanese momi fir wood sushi tub handmade by Japanese craftsmen. This wooden sushi tub absorbs just the right amount of moisture from the rice, so the sushi rice does not get soggy. This results in perfect fluffy rice. The outer bands are made of resin and fit tightly around the sushi tub as the entire product dries and slightly shrinks.
- This tub is used to mix rice and vinegar when making rice for sushi. It can also be used for making sushi or as a container for chirashi-sushi. Before use, lightly moisten the tub with water to prevent the rice from getting stuck to it.
- Japanese momi fir has good water absorption properties and does not require any special care, so it is easy to use and maintain.
