This well manufactured gate hardware is designed to be heavy duty and hold up to heavy usage. They're ideal for swing gates, blast gates, driveway gates, and even self-closing gates.
- These heavy duty hinges are just what you need to hang doors and gates where you require full range of motion. Made of high quality steel with a black powder coating. Comes with all necessary hardware, no need for extra pieces, like springs. These J-hook style hinges are heavy duty, and excellent for gate hinges hardware, door hinges, chain link fence parts, swing gate openers, blast gates, driveway gates, and even as gate latches for metal gates, in general.
- To Install - Weld the flat backing plate to the mounting post. If not already available, drill a hole through the gate frame big enough for the threaded bolt. Pass the bolt through, and secure with nuts. Hinges must be mounted with the thread arm at the top. If mounted upside down, the gate will fall. All gate hardware included.
- Minimum distance between post and gate should be 2", to accommodate for the welding plate and barrel. The threaded arm allows you to easily adjust the distance between gate and post. Not a latch or closure. Depending on the type of gate, J hooks or door bolts may be your best option.
- Each pair of 3/4" J-bolt hinges can hold up to 600 lbs, making them an excellent choice for driveways and security gates. If set up for use with J-Bolt hinges, they can be used with metal tube gates, trailer ramps, and more.
