Special Comix 3 (SC3) / Huge Underground Alternative Chinese Comics Anthology

For sale is a copy of Special Comix 3 (SC3), an anthology of underground Chinese comics. These were published in China, are out of print, and are very difficult to find. The comics are in Chinese with an English translation running at the bottom of each page.

This is a gigantic oversized softcover (over 600 pages) published in 2009. There is a wide variety of story types and art, ranging from realistic to surreal, narrative-based to more poetic. Some of the included artists are Yan Cong, Lenlen, and Zhuo Ma. The book comes with a fold-out poster by artist and editor Yan Cong.

The book is used but in very good condition. There is some wear, creasing, and small tears to the corners and some edges of the dust jacket as can be seen in the pictures (the dust jacket is made of a fragile material). The interior pages are clean.
