Poker Dice is a dice game using five (5) special dice that have playing card values from a nine to ace, instead of the 1 through 6 pips on standard dice. Poker Dice can be played by any number of players and the rules for the game are very simple. Each player in turn gets up to three rolls of the dice to make the best standard poker hand, players put aside dice on each throw to build the 'hand' and the player with the best poker hand wins (suit has no relevance). A variant of poker dice, liar dice allows bluffing. Each player shields his throws and announces his hand, either truthfully or not. The second either attempts a better hand or calls the bluff. If the caller is correct in his call, he wins; if not, he loses. Hand Values Object: To get the highest hand, this is the greatest number of the highest valued card. The highest possible hand is 10 Kings. Value: Ace/Wild = 1 dot King = K Queen = Q Jack = J 8 = 8 Dots 7 = 7 dots Playing: Each player rolls one die. High roll goes first and play moves to the left. A player rolls all five dice and puts aside the dice the player wishes to save. The player then re-rolls the remaining dice if any. If the player has five of a kind at the end of the first or second roll, then the player may re-roll all five dice once and add any matching dice to the previous total On the players first roll of the dice the ace is wild and can be used to match any die. On the second or third roll of the dice an ace only counts as wild if another die matching the first roll is rolled On the extra roll of the dice, after a 5 of a kind, the ace only counts as wild if another die matching the first roll is rolled
