Our tapered stakes allow you to quickly install your stakes almost anywhere. These are not the skinny flimsy stakes or hollow pipes you might find at the big box stores that loosen quickly and fall over or break after only a few pitches. These stakes are the official NHPA regulation 1" diameter and a full 28" in length of solid steel. The official above ground stake height is 14-15 inches, so burying the stakes 14" (half way white guideline) gives you the perfect height with amazing long-term stability. After use, repaint only the above ground half of the stake to maintain the guideline. If desired, these stakes can be permanently set in a wood block or bucket of concrete (access to our permanent set up video included). A bolt placed through the eyelet at the bottom provides added stability to permanent setups. Remember, stakes should be set up with a 3 inch forward lean as measured from top to bottom (12°).
