The Recessed Soap / Foot Rest niche can be used for soap at any height in your bath or shower area. Set at about 16-18” off your shower floor to use as a foot rest. Since the footrest is recessed, your foot is held from sliding sideways. During firing our ceramic units shrink approx 11%, hence our measurement are nominal or approximate, thank you. Approximate Overall size is 6 1/4” x 4 5/8” ,Cut out size is 5 ¾” x 4 1/8” Install level in cut out opening using silicone caulk and tape in place with aluminum tape overnight, finish caulk next day.
