This vest from Snow Peak is recommended for camping, combining the look of denim with TAKIBI specifications.
The popular "TAKIBI Denim" series has been updated with a new material.
It uses an original fabric that blends "Kanecaron," a flame-retardant modacrylic material from "Kaneka Corporation," with cotton, offering high flame resistance and excellent dyeability. The indigo pre-dyeing of the warp and weft creates a denim look, allowing you to enjoy the aging process just like regular denim. The fabric is woven by "Shinohara Textile" in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which is famous for denim fabric manufacturing. The lining uses a separate cotton fabric to reduce the overall weight.
Available in two colors: indigo and light blue. There are three sizes (S-L) to choose from, allowing anyone to find their preferred fit.
This is the standard TAKIBI vest. The front and back patterns have been revised to eliminate the difference in length that can be noticeable when worn. Pockets and loops have been added to store gear needed in camping situations, such as lanterns and hammers. The back tool pocket has a mesh bottle pocket that can be used with one hand, and the front chest pocket has a pocket for storing smartphones, etc. It can be worn over a T-shirt or over outerwear by choosing a larger size.
