COVRSITE PLUS Cover Dressing is designed as a secondary cover dressing over primary dressings such as; gels, gel sheets, alginates, wound filters, non-adhesive foams, etc. and is indicated for the management of acute or chronic wounds. It can be used as a primary dressing to dress postoperative and sutured wounds, cuts, and lacerations where levels of exudate are low. It can also be used as a secondary dressing over chronic wounds when used with a primary absorbent dressing. It’s an easy-to-apply, single-step dressing replacement to traditional tape and gauze. With its welltolerated, low-allergy adhesive, COVRSITE PLUS Cover Dressing is a low-adherent wound contact that can be changed daily. The waterproof film layer that covers the dressing helps protect wounds from contamination by urine and feces. When used as directed by your healthcare professional or the full package instructions, this dressing can help make wound care a more comfortable process in any space. Directions: First, choose a dressing with a pad size that’s slightly larger than the area of the wound. Remove the first tab from the underside of the COVRSITE PLUS dressing. Adhere the exposed adhesive side on one side of the wound. Remove the second tab, and adhere the rest of the dressing over the wound.
