A scarce pre-publication edition with limited distribution, intended to garner reviews and for grassroots promotion prior to the book’s official release date. A haunting thriller / horror novel based on Shackleton’s ill-fated Arctic voyage. Moderate shelf wear to covers, especially around the edges and to corners, which have some creases, bumps and small tears. Binding faintly split in a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Bottom right corner of first several pages slightly bumped/creased, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
