• Our Paua Pearl capo uses the same durable titanium process as our other Capo Royale models, so the beauty of its changing colours lasts virtually forever. In addition, the random color patterns make each capo unique.
• Pāua is the Māori name (originally from New Zealand) for an abalone species whose shells are the most beautiful and colorful. Luthiers often use Pāua cauldrons for inlays in their most extraordinary guitars. Pāua beads are fine jewellery made from these shells. When Shubb designed this new finish, its dazzling iridescent effect reminiscent of Pāua beads, which is why it was named.
