Salewa Mountain Trainer Mid GORE-TEX Walking Boots Designed to keep you on top all day no matter what the terrain is with the Salewa Mountain Trainer Mid GORE-TEX Walking Boots. The robust structure combined with a durable and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane will keep your feet dry and protected all day. GORE-TEX Upper The upper of the Mountain Trainer is surrounded by a GORE-TEX membrane. Designed to keep water out of the main body of the boot, the membrane will block out all water, stopping it from penetrating the surface layer and causing discomfort to the feet. Despite preventing water from entering the boot, air and moisture from inside are still able to find a way out, which means that the membrane will not compromise breathability. This will allow a steady and constant airflow in and out, which will keep the feet feeling fresh and ventilated. With robust suede leather surrounding the base of the upper, this will ensure that all bumps and heavy contacts will be absorbed before reaching the foot. The toes and the heel have especially reinforced protection, which will keep your feet protected and healthy. The boot uses Salewa's 3F System to further improve the fit. This system will improve the flexibility of the upper, which also provides support and a blister-free fit, which will dramatically improve the experience of wearing the boots, removing irritations and distractions that come with an uncomfortable fit. Specially designed climbing laces run all the way from the toes to the ankle and are able to secure a tight fit when ascending, whilst can be loosened for improved comfort when descending. A padded tongue and ankle collar will sit against the top of the foot and ankle softly, removing the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing.
