This model of the Rycote Windshield, Shock Mount and Handling Kit was designed specifically for the Sony PCM-D100 portable recorder. It is a must-have solution if you record outdoors or on-the-go. It comes complete with a custom fitting Mini Windjammer, a portable recorder shock mount, a soft grip extension handle and a 3/8" hot shoe adapter. When used together the kit provides everything needed to isolate your portable recorder from wind noise, handling noise and unwanted vibrations. The mini Windjammer provides up to 10dB wind noise reduction on its own. The shock mount can be mounted on a 3/8" male thread, mic stand, tripod, boom pole or attached to a camera hot shoe (with adapter). The 180 degree swivel allows for easy orientation of the recorder so it can point in the exact direction of the source. The shock mount is resistant to temperature extremes.
