This is a very unusual item – a saltern, made in Soviet-era Russia around 1950, and mimicking the style of late 19th and early 20th century imperial Russian silverware.
Standing on three small feet and beautifully decorated, the item can be a perfect part of your collection.
Both the spoon and the saltern are marked 9ЮММЕТ. The saltern and the spoon are a matching set.
Size: The salt is 2.5” wide and 1” high, the spoon is 3” long. Together they weigh 103gr, although most of that will be the glass liner, which is stuck in place.
