PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED VERSION OF THE NORTHERN SOUL CLASSIC "LAST MINUTE MIRACLE""Last Minute Miracle"was originally recorded by The Shirelles for Scepter Records in 1967. It was written by George Kerr and Gerald Harris and arranged by Richard Tee. It has been a staple of the Northern Soul scene since it's heyday in the mid-Seventies and was famously compiled by DJ Ian Levine in 1975 for the ground-breaking 'Solid Soul Sensations' album. The song was also covered by Linda Jones and appeared on her 'Hypnotized' album.Here we feature Ruby Winters' previously unreleased version transferred from the Diamond Records tape along with "Bells Of St. Mary's", "Try Me", "I Can't Help But Let You", "Someone Out There For Me"and "If Only We Had Met Sooner".  We include Ruby's audition take and the newly mixed and retouched master.Another exclusive from Charly Records.
