The patented RIDGID White sealant formula, listed by NFS and UPC, is approved for potable water pipes. These non-toxic, lead-free formulas do not harden or freeze, enabling easy disassembly of joints without compromising thread integrity. RIDGID's White sealant, with ultra-fine anti-adherent particles, provides a tighter seal with less effort. Its formula remains unaffected by oils, diluted acids, or common solvents, and can be used on PVC, CPVC, ABS, nylon, polypropylene, polybutylene, Delrin, Cycolac, and metallic pipes. However, it should not be used in pipes for oxygen, halogens, or liquid sodium.
