I'm sure you have heard of blue dumortierite which works with the upper three Chakras and indeed improves communication.. Additionally, more rare purple dumortierite works with the heart Chakra and bringing to the surface and overcoming past buried traumas from within, whether physical or emotional disturbances. By penetrating these blockages, your full aura gets a helpful rejuvenation. Also referred to as pink dumortierite or Nevada Rose variety. Quite rare and I'm not sure if I will be getting another one of these in again anytime soon. If you like it, get it as I'd love to see what someone creates with this. Upon more serious scrutiny, it appears a heart is actually in the grains of this piece. Marvelous! Work's well with rhodochrosite and kunzite too.
