The ProCare ProWedge Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint features a soft padded, contoured posterior shell that provides passive dorsiflexion to address plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. This splint is secured with 3 Velcro straps, keeping it in fastened the entire night. It's designed to keep the foot at a 90-degree angle to the shinbone, which places a sustained stretch on the plantar fascia. Prolonging this stretch overnight helps hold the plantar fascia in a better position for healing. Research has shown that night splinting relieves symptoms in over 80% of cases of plantar fasciitis. Also included is a full-length toe wedge, which provides additional stretch on the plantar fascia. It features a removable liner that can be washed.
