This Hornet 18” Oil Seal Puller Extractor Kit is more effective and efficient, saving technicians time and money. Other pullers use a tapered threaded front to penetrate and remove the seal. This is an old school approach to a common problem, factor in degradation of the tip, and the need to buy a replacement tool, leaves you with an expensive repair for an ineffective tool. Problem solved! Take a standard commercial construction drywall screw, and adapt it to a precision-made stainless-steel holder, and you have a new product with a replaceable tip that stays sharp every-time. We did not stop there. We added a convenient, high-impact slide hammer made from high-density hardened-steel. Small enough to fit anywhere, but powerful enough to get the job done fast. Oh… and to protect the tool and your invesent, we coated it with black oxide to prevent rust, corrosion, and to add lubricity to the slide hammer action.
