2# density urethane 1/2 gallon kit consists of 1 quart of part a and 1 quart of part b. Yields 2 cubic feet (24" x 12" x 12"). This is a rigid, closed cell foam designed for use in filling cavities and voids for positive flotation and sound dampening. It is also an excellent insulating foam for use around refrigerators and freezers. It can be sanded or cut into any shape once cured. Pour-in-place foam can be covered with epoxy resin with fiberglass or carbon fiber cloth, to give a strong and durable finish. 2# foam has a 2 pound per cubic foot density and is perfect for lightweight flotation foam. Each cubic foot weighs 2lbs. We have other densities available. Please ask which foam is best for you.
