The Platinum 10569C 500 MCM ratcheted cable cutter is designed for simple one handed operation. Designed with an ergonomic, non-slip comfort grip handle the cable cutter works great in tight spaces. The cutting blades are manufactured from high carbon tool steel and can easily cut up to 500 MCM copper and aluminum cables with one hand. It features precision ground fixed and moving cutting blades for improved performance. The blades are heat treated for added durability and extended life and are a rust resistant black oxide finish. When finished the cable cutter has a locking latch for safe, easy storage. Platinum Tools, founded in 1997, was created based upon two very simple objectives.
