Product Description Palmgren's line of general purpose vises are handy for any shop. Recommended for use on drill presses, mills, drills, milling machines and any other machine tool where secure mounting is required. With a jaw opening of 3 inches and a jaw width of 3 inches, this vise is ideal for small to medium jobs. Made from 30,00 PSI tensile strength, fine grain cast iron, precision engineering keeps the bed and base of the vise parallel to 0.001 inch. This general purpose vise also comes with replaceable steel jaws, where the jaw on the fixed side is both horizontally and vertically grooved for holding round parts securely. The Center of the base is also open for holding work through the body of the work. Jack screws are a handy tool for leveling work on machine tables or fixtures, and with this general purpose vise, each jack is designed with a quick acting height adjustment so you can make alterations on the go without worrying about damage to your workpiece.
