The adjustable 2-piece design allows the connector to be mounted before it is positioned, facilitating easy installation. Our metal connectors have a top cover plate that interlocks with your ledge and adjusts to the thickness of the beam being used. They are ideal for roofs, larger pavilions and pergolas, and rafters. These steel connectors are manufactured with 3/16-inch heavy gauge galvanized steel and are black powder coated to offer corrosion-resistant hardware. Unlike your conventional wood post bases, brackets, and connectors, our Ornamental Wood Ties line of products does not require additional labor and materials to conceal them. Screws are not recommended on the top plate for this post-to-beam application.
