Original wetland landscape pastel signed painting vintage artwork very nice!

An original landscape painting in soft pastels showing a wetland area with two waterfowl flying in the distance and signed P. Thomas. After careful research, I have determined that this is likely the work of Peter Thomas (English, 20th/21st century) who trained at Kingston-upon-Thames School of Art and did post-grad art teacher courses at Sussex University. Originally a watercolor artist, he switched to pastels in the very early 1980s and never looked back. His work is amazing. This painting is double-matted, protected by non-reflective plexiglass and framed in a metallic gold toned frame approximately 19 by 23 inches. It is in excellent condition. You can see an envelope on the rear where at one time information about the painting was held but somebody didn’t put the info back in it’s place.
