Small Seattle convention made smaller by poor weather and unexpected road closures, not forgetting the ongoing global pandemic

• Weekend Gaming: I dedicated a significant portion of my time to testing 'Shipwrights of Marino', a new game I developed during winter break
• OrcaCon's Culinary Delights: The event is renowned for its food trucks, with three to four options available, and their schedules are posted online for attendees to plan their meals
• Vines' Origin: OrcaCon is where 'Vines' was born. In January 2016, I introduced a new five-suited deck to a group of friends, and within hours, we had the foundation for 'Ducks and Geese'
• Bluffaneer: The sole new game I played this weekend was 'Bluffaneer' (Big G Creative, 2021), featuring two unique bone-shaped 4-sided dice, 18 tiny cards, and a helpful cheat sheet. It's similar to dreidel or LCR, with a touch of secret information and minimal bluffing
• Swashbluffer: Our latest game, 'Swashbluffer', is essentially a compact version of 'Pirate's Bluff', with the strategic element of discarding cards to influence symbol distribution
