Tarbosaurus, a meat-eating dinosaur from Mongolia's Gobi Desert, was among the last dinosaurs standing. Its large, thin skull was lightweight due to air pockets, and its bones were hollow, enabling it to grow massive or move swiftly. Preceding the T-rex, Tarbosaurus likely originated in Asia. It consumed anything, possibly scavenging due to its size, though its predatory habits are debated. It had strong, long legs and reduced forelimbs, with a massive, serrated-toothed head and a tiny brain relative to its body.
