Numenera RPG Core Rulebook Monte Cook Games

Hardcover, 416 pages with full color maps printed on the inside of the front and back covers. This book is in great shape inside and out. Numenera is a sci-fi fantasy rpg setting that boasts their own interesting mechanics. I think it has a Warhammer 40k vibe to it, maybe with a little Star Wars thrown in there too, but less space stuff. It plays like dungeons and dragons once you learn the system, just way more sci-fi. This book provides everything that both the players and the game master need to play Numenera. It includes the character creation rules, how to play, monsters, how to design adventures, etc. I’ve yet to play a session of Numenera, but I’ve heard great things about it. Supposedly they are crowdfunding a 2nd edition in the next couple years, so now is a great time to learn the system!
