North Mountain Supply - WT-2oz Wine Tannin & AB-4oz Acid Blend - 2 Ounce & 4 Ounce Jars

This product bundle includes a 2 ounce jar of wine tannin and a 4 ounce jar of food grade acid blend for wine making. The North Mountain Supply wine tannin is packaged in a plastic jar with a tamper evident air tight seal to ensure quality and freshness. It can improve the flavor of dull wines by adding earthy flavors and astringency. The wine tannin can also be used with white wines to simulate oak barrel aging. The North Mountain Supply food grade acid blend is also packaged in a sealed 4 ounce plastic jar. It is a wine making additive that contains a mix of 50 percent malic acid, 40 percent citric acid and 10 percent tartaric acid. By adding one teaspoon per gallon during the wine making process, the acidity can be increased by 0.1% to allow proper yeast fermentation. Used together, these wine making additives allow adjustment of the tannin structure and acidity of wines. This allows wine makers to achieve balanced, smooth and full-bodied flavor profiles in their homemade wines.
