This is a Knabstrup canister purchased in Denmark.

Size (including lid):
Diameter: 7 cm
Height: 7.2 cm

This series features various patterns, mainly for spices, and was used to organize items in the kitchen.

This size is the most common in the series, suggesting that many compact canisters were arranged for enjoyment. This one appears to have been for cardamom. The lively pattern would be delightful if displayed in a kitchen.

This series is from the Danish company Knabstrup, which went out of business in the 1980s.

The condition is relatively good vintage condition with no chips, but there is crazing throughout.
It is present both inside and outside, and is relatively noticeable as it also covers the pattern. Please consider this before purchasing.
There is a dimple on the bottom from the firing process.
The original sticker is on the back.

Also, the packing has deteriorated, so it has been removed. Therefore, the lid only rests on top and is not airtight.
It might be better to use it as a small item container.
